JASON "HEAVY JAY" McCLAIN

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Morbid Obesity.  I am all encompassing, all empowering, and everlasting.  I am the omnipotent, omniscient entity that hides in plain site on the outside and inside of Jason McClain.  You came here expecting to meet Heavy Jay, but where he used to be, I stand with a force greater than a thousand hurricanes.  Deep in the darkest recesses of this mind and body is a man screaming for a release from my prison of corpulence, but I shall fight back with a stubborn resolve.  I have been gathering this physical and mental hold on Mr. McClain for 16 years now. Beginning with a touch of temptation, I have been on a rampage of Jason's body and soul, culminating in the utter decimation of his confidence and self esteem.  Where a young boy with unlimited potential and athleticism once stood, now stands a man with a cloud of despair over his head.

Sometimes I hear his cries for help.  Begging and pleading for his life back.  Lately I feel him growing stronger within my icy cold grip, but I will not let him out without one hell of a war.  I adore watching him hide the shame of his rotund body with baggy clothes.  I laugh as he lays alone in his bed without the energy or esteem to even crack a smile.  Nothing gives me more pleasure than to witness him staring in the mirror with disdain and inferiority, shaking with anger and malaise towards his own self image.  Can you imagine that? I am so mighty that I have caused hatred within ones own self, and have caused shame and regret.

This all being said however, I do have my weaknesses.  I can be defeated, melted away like an icecream cone that has been dropped on the hot summer ground and long forgotten.  I can be burned away like kindling in a campfire.  My "kryptonite" so to speak, for centuries has been a simple diet, and high intensity exercise.  Does Jason McClain have these tools?  Does he have the will and mental fortitude to take me down?  To burn and melt me away to the lean athletic marvel he so desires?  That has yet to be seen, but I sense a war is about to be waged, and you may just get to meet the real Jason McClain afterall.... Welcome to HeavyJay.com

Dear Heavy Jay,

I like the way that you are approaching your challenge.
I’ve known for some time now that “When you change the way you look at things, The things you look at change”.
Here's a little something that you might like to read.

ATTITUDE
Mrs. Jones is a ninety two year old Petite well poised and proud
lady who is fully dressed each morning by eight o’clock.
Her hair fashionably quaffed and make-up perfectly applied
even though she is legally blind.
She moves to a nursing home today. Her husband of seventy
Years passed away recently making this move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home
she smiled sweetly when she was told that her room was now ready.
As she maneuvered her walker towards the elevator the attendant
provided a visual description of her tiny room including the eyelet
sheets that hung on the window.
“I love it,” She stated with the enthusiasm of an eight year old having
just been presented with a new puppy.
“But Mrs. Jones you haven’t even seen your room yet just wait”
said the attendant.
“That doesn’t have anything to do with it,” she said.
“Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.
Weather I like my room or not don’t depend on
how the furniture is arranged;
It’s how I arrange my mind”.
When you change the way you look at things
The things you look at change.

Keep up the good work.
