I just wanted to share something I learned about goal setting a few years ago that has really helped me to achieve the things I strive for.

Always write your goals in the present tense.  Other wise it will alway register in our subconscious as some thing we we be able to do in the future.

So for example instead of saying: 
 By November 26th, 2008 I will be able to run 1.5 miles in 10:45 or less.

try stating, 

 By November 26th, 2008 I am able to run 1.5 miles in 10:45 or less.

Just a thought.
